Once again this year, Prologis Spain has reached out to people in need through a range of charity initiatives, including a new campaign to collect goods for food banks.

By the close of the campaign, the company had collected over 3,500 of food donated by users and companies at its Barcelona and Madrid logistics parks. Donations could either be left at the park or made online. They were then passed on to two food bank organisations, the Fundació Banc dels Aliments de Barcelona and Fundación Banco de Alimentos de Madrid, who were responsible for distributing them to families in need.

“Solidarity is one of the values closest to our heart and one we promote through our PARKlife™ philosophy. We believe that by doing our bit we help create a better future for our communities and society as a whole”, said Cristian Oller, VP and Country Manager of Prologis Spain.

A host of companies took part in the campaign in either Madrid or Barcelona: Transaher, Sending, Siemens, DTS, Amazon, Spring, Golontrans, Opencor, MC Trinter, MZ Logistics, Transnatur, Alfil, Transemer, Bergé, Groupe CAT, Goodyear, Legrand, Medtronic, Staci, AFD Sola, Airpharm, Sampa, Securitas, Servicios CP, Closer, H.
