MADRID (15 June 2016) – Prologis, Inc., the global leader in logistics real estate, today announced that it has signed a new lease agreement with Panalpina for a 12,000 square metre logistics facility at Prologis Park Alcalá in Madrid.

The park is the most modern of its kind in Madrid, with Class-A buildings that have been adapted to respond to high fire risk. Located at Corredor del Henares, Prologis Park Alcalá features wide manoeuvring areas and standalone buildings with enclosed common spaces suitable for the installation of surveillance equipment.

Panalpina, one of the world's leading providers of end-to-end supply chain solutions, chose the facility for its location, increasing the number of international logistics and distribution companies that partner with Prologis Spain. “Panalpina’s investment in Corredor del Henares will allow the company to consolidate its operations and grow in the Spanish market,” said Gustavo Cardozo, senior vice president, Prologis Iberia.
