On 14 April, one of our sites played host to a solidarity initiative. As part of our collaboration with the Red Cross, a mobile blood donation unit parked up at the entrance to Building 4 in Prologis Park Coslada, creating a great opportunity for the park's customers to donate a little blood for the good of all. Campaign supporters include the Municipality of Madrid.

In the course of the day, Prologis customers generously gave enough blood to help 24 people in urgent need of a transfusion. As an added bonus, nearly all were first-time donors. The Prologis team thanks everyone who gave blood for their committed and generous example.

Miguel Cogolludo, Real Estate & Customer Experience Manager of Prologis Spain, shared his thoughts on the initiative: “It is inspiring to see the commitment and solidarity of our customers and we are especially pleased that nearly all those participating were giving blood for the first time. These are gestures that can save lives. We are going to continue working on this kind of initiative involving more and more of our customers so we can all do our bit.”

The initiative was part of PARKlife, Prologis's project to integrate customers into local community life in line with the company's values. Involving communities in socially essential actions is a perfect example of the corporate purpose in action.
