Learning with PARKlife™

How often have we thought of signing up to a cooking or gardening workshop? How often have we skipped a sports event for lack of time? At Prologis we are well aware of the time taken up by the working day, which is why we work to create activities that people would like to do but always put off for lack of time.

The aim is to enhance our users’ experience of our parks, by promoting leisure, well-being and safety. This is why we are bringing our PARKlife™ philosophy to existing logistics parks, such as Prologis Park Alcalá, where in May we opened a new PARKlife™ zone.

In the last few months we have also sponsored paddle tennis tournaments in parks such as La Granada or Sant Boi de Llobregat, stressing the importance of a healthy lifestyle through sport. We also celebrated Sant Jordi's day - when Catalonia celebrates with books and roses - alongside our customers, handing out special free roses whose stem was a plantable pencil and whose petals were bookmarks.

Another example, reflecting our commitment to the environment, was the kokedama workshop we held in April at our Prologis Park Alcalá. Participants learned the Japanese technique of kokedama, growing plants in an organic ball-shaped moss pot.
