Prologis has appointed José Ignacio Gómez Ortega as the new Project Manager for Spain.
José Ignacio has joined Prologis with a firm understanding of the company’s development strategy. He has built up key knowledge having already worked on the construction of Prologis Park San Fernando while whith Norton Edificios Industriales, where he held Project- and Production Manager roles over the past 10 years. José Ignacio Gómes has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Burgos and over 13 years of experience in the logistics real estate sector.
He has managed projects in leading companies including Amazon and ID Logistics. His appointment comes at a time of growth for Prologis in the Spanish logistics real estate market, particularly following the recent acquisition of 18 properties. This portfolio comprises 473,000 square metres, 353,000 square meters of which are located in the Madrid area, where Jose Ignacio will be based in his new role.
