IMPACT Day: Prologis Employees Cooperate with a Soup Kitchen on their Solidarity Day
On May 17th, Prologis employees were pleased to celebrate a new edition of the Impact Day, which took place as usual on the third Friday of May. This is the most responsible day for the company, a global corporate event in which more than 1,600 workers worldwide show their solidarity by means of an altruistic activity.
In recent years, Prologis has conducted many solidarity actions on occasion of the Impact Day: from helping disabled people and voluntary space remodeling to reforestation of abandoned areas in Catalonia (Spain).
On this 7th Impact Day, and in partnership with the Barcelonactiva organization, Prologis employees in Spain contributed to a soup kitchen that supports homeless and socially excluded people.
“One more year, this significant day for us has been a true success. More than 1,600 Prologis employees volunteer in more than 60 cities across the world on an altruistic solidarity initiative. One again, Prologis has shown its more supportive side,” says Gustavo Cardozo, Country Manager Iberia, at Prologis.
